i think at the start there you means debase yourself not base yourself but that aside the nicest thing i can say which is also true is: looking at these made me sad Iā€™m so bored of making photos. made me wistful for the living breathing street era, where pictures were everywhere and everything seemed alive. the first photo is bordering on perfect.

Lovely photos as always Tyler! Alongside all of the great shots of city scapes (it's like a non-street type of street photography, like where the structures are the subject themselves), I was surprised by the various appearances of close up plant shots, and ladies with big hats! haha those were great.

Seemed like I got a good sense of summer in Edmonton! Although granted you said yourself it looks more vivacious than it felt and yeah I tend to feel that photography can do that to us. It's like the instagram effect of only seeing photos of the good parts of someone's life, but instead of it being a stranger its you and you can remember all of the feelings in between all of the photos.

Some of the shots that stuck out were:

The playground slide shot, the red pole going through the yellow house, Edmonton skyline view from the river, street shot of the huge golden building, southern auto body, the mint house with the shrubbery, algae bloom, brutalist steam pipes, foggy lake shot, Wes Anderson night shot of the opaque glass looking into an orange hallway, old house beside new build, the ho yee convenience store shot, Pattison sign, parking shot
